Our privacy policy at Gord’s Appliance is pretty simple, straightforward. We respect our customers’ rights to personal privacy. We safeguard any information provided by our customers, and we are committed to full compliance with the Privacy Laws that relate to our businesses and in Alberta.
What Types of Personal Information Do We Collect, and Why?
When customers contact the furnace family to order our products or services, we ask for your name and contact information (address, telephone number and email), information about the product or service being ordered. When processing payment information we ask for any credit card information – which none of is stored in any of our systems and correctly disposed of upon processing. We may use your personal information such as address, telephone number or email (if provided) to inform you of any new products or services we feel may be of interest, to ask their opinions, feedback or reviews. However, we will not do so at the customers’ request.
Do We Disclose Personal Information?
Simply said. No. Unless the customer authorizes us to release it, or release is required or permitted by law, we will not disclose Personal Information to third parties. Furnace family will never sell, lease or trade Personal Information to third parties without the customer’s consent. We take your privacy very seriously.
